we inform you that Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 274 "On temporary measures to regulate the legal status of foreign citizens in connection with the threat of the spread of Covid 19" has been amended with respect to benefits for foreign citizens currently located in the Russian Federation:
1. Extension of the suspension of the terms of stay and residence from June 15, 2020 to September 15, 2020 for foreign citizens whose terms of stay and residence have expired (expire) from March 15, 2020 to September 15, 2020
2. Extensions of the permissible 6-month period of stay outside the Russian Federation for foreign citizens who have (or are in the process of applying for) a residence permit, a temporary residence permit participating in a resettlement program in the Russian Federation.
3. The clause giving the right to employers to hire foreign citizens who do not have a work permit (if there is a permit to attract foreign citizens) or a patent is deleted.
These amendments will be accepted and published shortly.
