Our company Law&Travel informs that Federal Law No. 93-FZ of 21.04.2025 "On Amendments to Article 25.6 of the Federal Law "On the Procedure for Leaving the Russian Federation and Entering the Russian Federation" has been signed and published.

Thus, participants in the State Program for Assistance to the Voluntary Resettlement of Compatriots Living Abroad and Members of Their Families to the Russian Federation will be able to obtain a private visa for up to 1 year, with the possibility of subsequent extension for the period of the participant's status.

Also, a work visa for the purpose of travel "installation work" can be obtained with both a single and double entry into the Russian Federation for up to 90 days, with the possibility of subsequent extension for a period of no more than 90 days.

This visa can be obtained by employees of foreign legal entities supplying technical equipment to the Russian Federation, entering for installation, commissioning, service, warranty and post-warranty maintenance of this equipment.

The changes come into force on July 21st, 2025.
