Exemption of some categories of foreign workers from the Russian language exam
A law was passed according to which foreign citizens working in Russia within the framework of the Russian government quota will be exempted from the need to pass exams on knowledge of the Russian language and history of Russia.
There will be an important nuance: the innovation will not affect professions that involve interaction with citizens (provision of services to the population: salespeople, medical workers, etc.), i.e. for these professions, the requirement to pass exams on knowledge of the Russian language remains.
In addition, the following categories of foreign workers are exempt from taking the exam:
